• Report Writing: Accurately document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports to maintain clear and reliable records for operational and legal purposes.

• Safeguarding: Protect client premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a vigilant presence, identifying potential security risks, and responding promptly to threats.

• Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities, monitor for suspicious behavior, and ensure the safety of the premises.

• Entrance and Exit Control: Manage access points by verifying identities, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring compliance with security protocols to prevent unauthorized entry.

• Register Maintenance: Complete and maintain relevant registers, such as visitor logs, vehicle logs, and incident reports, to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities.

• Standard Security Duties: Perform additional tasks as per training, including responding to alarms, assisting with investigations, and supporting team efforts to maintain a secure environment.

• Training Compliance: Participate in ongoing training programs to develop and refine skills in security operations, conflict resolution, and emergency response.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 10 or equivalent, providing a foundational level of education suitable for entry-level security training.

Certifications and Experience

• Security Accreditation: Must hold a Grade C – A accreditation and be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry is required, ensuring candidates have basic familiarity with security operations.

• Training: Willingness to complete Fidelity’s standard security training program, which covers protocols, procedures, and best practices.

• Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record and be willing to undergo regular criminal background checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
