REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification of Basic R425, such as a Diploma or Degree, or an equivalent qualification that allows for registration with the SANC as a practicing registered nurse.
COORDINATOR JOB, Must have at least 3 years of nursing experience after becoming a registered nurse, with a minimum of 3 years in quality assurance activities within a hospital setting

COORDINATOR JOB, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills (both written and verbal), basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, Excel), and knowledge of strategic planning, project management, and Ideal Hospital Framework standards.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to deliver PowerPoint presentations.

across all service areas by providing guidance. Quality Assurance indicators will be monitored and reported on to enhance service delivery. Active Quality Assurance committees will be established, and quality champions and staff will be involved in improvement projects.
COORDINATOR JOB, Efforts will be made to recognize and reward individual performance and cultivate a positive quality culture. Identification of best practices and assistance in implementing Quality Assurance standards will be provided to units. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be pursued.
Quality improvement audits will be conducted and submitted to senior management within specified deadlines. All units will be required to conduct Patients Experience of Care and Waiting Times Surveys. Planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Quality Assurance programs will be overseen. www.dpsa.gov.za/documents
The coordination of assessments and activities for the Ideal Hospital Framework, including accreditations, will be managed. COORDINATOR JOB, Peer review assessments may be participated in or led. Training and updates on quality issues will be provided to clinical and non-clinical staff. Clinical and nursing audits will be conducted to evaluate patient care, and attendance at mortality and morbidity meetings will be required.
Participation in various committee meetings, such as those related to patient safety incidents and complaints, will be expected to improve the quality of care and enhance service user satisfaction. Support will be provided for activities promoting service excellence. Effective management of human and material resources will be ensured in accordance with PDFMA guidelines.
